Gay Travel Guide Goes to Chile to See The Worlds Largest Swimming Pool

If you like doing laps in the swimming pool, you might want to stock up on some energy drinks before diving in to this one.

It is more than 1,000 yards long, covers 20 acres, had a 115ft deep end and holds 66 million gallons of water.  (which is similar to 6000 8 meter long pools).

The pool can be found in Algarrobo, Chile at San Alfonso del Mar.
The  water has the transparency and turquoise look of the clear sea, this is thanks to the technology used which collects water from the ocean and keeps it in perfect condition.

It took five years to build, cost nearly £1billion and the annual maintenance bill will be £2million.

Quite a lovely resort!
When are we going?!
